Dr. Russell B. Skinner

dr-russell-skinner Dr. Skinner was raised in north Texas, in the rural town of Aubrey. He was a varsity athlete, active in honor society, and FFA. He graduated salutatorian from Aubrey High School in 1988. He then attended Abilene Christian University, where he graduated with honors receiving his bachelors degree in biology. While at ACU, Dr Skinner was active in fraternity, intramural sports, and also worked in the microbiology department. Dr Skinner then attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1997. Following medical school, he completed a residency in Family Medicine from Texas Tech Health Science Center in Lubbock.

Dr Skinner has experience in family practice, advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicine, emergent/urgent care, occupational medicine, and physical medicine.

Dr Skinner is married and has three boys. He enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities, and being involved with his local church community.
